Mobile Leather & Vinyl Repair for Cars and Furniture in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Long Island, and NJ

Here are the most common questions about our mobile leather and vinyl repair services. We answer everything about cost, durability, color matching, travel fees, and service areas. Whether you need leather couch repair or car seat restoration, this FAQ will help.

  • General Questions

    1. How much does leather or vinyl repair cost?
Most repairs start at $175 per damage. Larger jobs or multiple sections are quoted individually.

    2. Is repair cheaper than replacement?
Yes. In most cases, repair is more cost-effective than full replacement. For example, replacing a leather car seat can cost over $1,000, while a localized repair is much more affordable.

    3. How long does a leather repair last?
With proper care, a repair can last for many years. Durability depends on the original surface and how well it’s maintained.
  • Service & Process

    4. How do you repair leather or vinyl?
We clean and prep the surface, apply professional filler and compounds, color-match the paint, and finish with a protective coating.

    5. Do I need to bring my car or furniture to you?
No. We provide mobile repair services in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, Long Island, and nearby New Jersey.

    6. Do you remove the seats or upholstery?
Usually no — most repairs are done directly on-site without removing the item.

    7. How long does the repair take?
Small repairs take about 1–2 hours. Multiple or complex jobs may take 3–4 hours.
  • Quality & Results

    8. Will the repaired area look like new?
In most cases, the repaired area looks significantly improved and blends in very naturally. While a 100% factory-new finish is not always realistic, our goal is always to make the damage far less noticeable and restore the leather to the best possible appearance.

    9. Will the color match the original?
Yes. We use formulas for mixing and then adjust manually for the closest match to the original color.

    10. Can you repair burns, holes, or scratches?
Absolutely. Minor scratches, cuts, and small burns can often be fully restored to the point where they are no longer visible. Bigger or more complex damage can also be repaired and blended in, but results depend on the original material.

    11. Do you repair peeling or flaking leather?
If leather is peeling badly or has become soft like putty, we recommend replacement instead of repair.
  • Location & Availability

    12. Where are you located?
We are based in Brooklyn, New York. At the moment, we don’t have a physical workshop — we come directly to you.

    13. Do you service Staten Island, Long Island, or New Jersey?
Yes. We cover Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, Nassau County, and parts of New Jersey (travel fees may apply).
  • Travel & Payment

    14. Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes, we charge a travel fee to make pricing simple and predictable. The fee covers not only fuel, but also driving time, traffic delays, tolls, and transporting all necessary equipment.
Within 30 miles of Brooklyn, the flat travel fee is $75. For distances beyond 30 miles, the fee is $2 per mile. This way, you don’t need to worry about extra hidden costs — the price is clear upfront.

    15. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and other common payment methods.
  • Materials & Types of Work
